Music Fan Magazine was given the opportunity to attend the Tedeschi Trucks Band show in Reno, Nevada, and I can tell you it was a legitimate thrill to be in the same auditorium as Derek and Susan as they belted out a 2-hour set filled with songs from their 2023 albums and hits from their previous award-winning releases.

When MFM heard Trampled by Turtles was playing at some place called the “J Resort Glow Plaza” in Reno we weren’t quite sure what to expect. But on a warm summer night the spacious repurposed outdoor venue was actually lovely. I was particularly excited for this show because I’ve been a big fan of the Turtles for a few years now.

The Grammy-nominated Wood Brothers made a stop in Grass Valley on Tuesday night for yet another sold out performance on this year’s tour calendar. Celebrating their eighth studio album release, “Heart is the Hero,” The Wood Brothers put on an excellent show demonstrating their next-level musicianship over and over again.
